I Was in Your Situation Too!
As a father of two young children, I was eager to teach them Arabic; my dream was to have a perfectly Arabic-speaking family.
In 2010, I finally touched this dream when I discovered Professor Abdellah Dannan and his immersion learning method!
By applying this method with my own family, it took only a few months for my dream to become reality: not only did my children speak Arabic, but they were able to vocalize all word and sentence endings without errors before they even turned six!
Building on this experience, I expanded my teaching to the Alfitra school.
Of course, your Arabic level should already be sufficient to follow this training, as it is conducted entirely in Arabic. However,
In just 10 days, you will have perfected your Arabic, eliminated grammatical mistakes, and be ready to teach Arabic through immersion to your students or children!apprenants ou à vos enfants l’arabe par l’immersion !

What Does the Educational Content of the Program Look Like?
Day 1: Conference on the Dannan Method and Discussion
Safia, the instructor, gives a conference to explain in detail what the Dannan method consists of. Then, learners are invited to express their opinions and discuss the topic.
Day 2: Image Description Using Nominal Sentences (Prepared)
This exercise is prepared at home. Learners must describe images using nominal sentences. Then, Safia adds elements that modify the harakats, and learners must take them into account. This exercise is particularly useful for improving grammar.
Days 3-4: Image Description Using Verbal Sentences
This unprepared exercise focuses on improving verb conjugation skills.
Days 5-6: Storytelling
Each learner prepares a story at home and tells it the next day. Another learner then retells what they understood from the story, always ensuring proper vocalization.
Day 7: Reading and Vocalization of a Story
This exercise is not prepared in advance. The learner receives a non-vocalized story and must read it aloud while correctly pronouncing all the harakats.
Day 8: Summarizing a Cartoon
Learners watch a cartoon and must recount what happened while maintaining proper vocalization.
Day 9: Debate on Contradictory Ideas
In pairs, learners must defend a point of view in a debate on contradictory ideas.
For example: Which is more severe, drought or flooding?
Day 10: Mini Conference Presented by Each Learner
Each learner must give a 5-10 minute presentation (without reading) on a topic prepared at home (e.g., their autobiography, the customs of their city/country, current events, or recounting a personal experience), always ensuring correct vocalization.
