I was once in your shoes!

As the father of two young children, I was eager to teach them Arabic: my dream was to have a fully Arabic-speaking family.

And in 2010, I was finally able to touch this dream, when I discovered Professor Abdellah Dannan and his immersive learning method!

By applying this method with my own family, it only took a few months for my dream to become a reality: not only were my children speaking Arabic, but they could vocalize all word endings and sentences without making mistakes, even before turning 6!

Building on this experience, I expanded my teaching at the Alfitra school I founded in Tangier. Then, to ensure that every learner around the world could benefit from immersive learning, I launched Arabic Immersion, an online program that now welcomes 4500 learners, both children and adults.

Now, our goal is to help every Arabic-speaking teacher and parent worldwide apply this method and make a positive impact on their class or family.

Of course, your Arabic level must already be adequate to follow this training, which is entirely conducted in Arabic, but

In just 10 days,

you will have perfected your Arabic level,

you will no longer make grammar mistakes,

and you will be ready to pass on

Arabic through immersion

to your learners or children!

How?

1. An intensive training entirely in classical Arabic.

2. A globally approved and recognized method.

3. A training entirely based on oral communication.

4. The pronunciation of ALL harakats, including those at the end of words.

5. Numerous and varied practical exercises.

6. A specialized and experienced teacher.

Arabic Immersion aims to promote authentic and natural Arabic language teaching.

It is the Arabic language acquisition method through immersion and practice, developed by the famous Palestinian linguist, Professor Abdellah Dannan. In 2015, he was awarded the prize for the best Arabic language teaching method in schools.

A method that relies on a communicative approach to the Arabic language based on listening and interaction.

This method serves those who work for the Arabic language: schools, training centers, associations, Arabic language teachers, as well as families and individuals interested in the Arabic language.

Linguist, novelist, and poet, Professor Abdellah Dannan has dedicated over sixty years of his life to education as a teacher, lecturer, and university professor.

He has published over sixty articles and books on teaching Arabic to children. In 2015, he was awarded, at the international conference in Dubai, the prize for the best Arabic language teaching method in schools.

What does the educational content of the program look like?

Day 1: Conference on the Dannan Method and Debate

Safia, the trainer, gives a lecture to explain in detail what the Dannan method is, then learners are invited to express their views and discuss the topic.

Day 2: Description of Images Using Nominal Sentences (Prepared)

This exercise is prepared at home. Learners must describe images using nominal sentences. Then, Safia adds elements that alter the harakats, and learners must take them into account. This exercise particularly helps improve grammar.

Days 3-4: Description of Images Using Verbal Sentences

This unprepared exercise focuses on improving conjugation.

Days 5-6: Narrating a Story

Each learner prepares a story at home, and the next day they tell it. Then another learner must narrate what they understood from the story, always respecting the vocalization.

Day 7: Reading and Vocalizing a Story

This exercise is unprepared. The learner receives an unvocalized story and must read it, pronouncing all the harakats.

Day 8: Summarizing a Cartoon

The learners watch a cartoon and must tell what happened, while respecting the vocalization.

Day 9: Debate on Contradictory Ideas

In pairs, learners must defend a point of view in a debate on contradictory ideas.

For example, drought or flooding: which is worse?

Day 10: Mini Conference by Each Learner

Each learner must present (without reading) for 5-10 minutes a topic prepared at home (e.g., their autobiography, the customs of their city/country, current events, a story that happened to them, etc.), always using vocalization.
